How does the lead time work?
XPVs and other in-house produced items may have applicable production lead times, or time periods between order and shipment. The lead-time estimate is either noted on the order when it is placed or noted in the text of the item description. “In Stock” status for items with lead times refers to us having the materials on hand to produce the ordered product(s).
When lead times change, it is for new orders going forward.
Lead-time estimates are expressed in business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Please note that lead-time estimates are just that, estimates. They may be give or take a few days. If a delay is expected to be longer than a few days, we will try to post a news item. Please give us at least 2 business days after the lead-time window before contacting us about the status of a lead time order.
Other in-stock items/mixed orders
Items with no stated lead time that are listed as “In stock” are ready for immediate processing and shipment. However note, any items in the same order as a lead-time item will ship with that lead-time item. If you would like to get immediate shipment on items in addition to lead-time items, place them in a separate order.
